Loss to Found:
Donate to our appeal
We demand a world where every Deaf person feels found. Donate now and support our Deaf-led movement to bring BSL in and change Deaf lives.
The problem:
Too many deaf people are growing up without culture, community and language

Bobbie

She's a different child... I felt I'd lost her, but now I have her back. Why? Because of BSL.

Why the BDA?
We exist to protect and celebrate the language, culture, heritage and rights of deaf signing people in the UK, ensuring their full, equal and valued participation in society.
The only
National representative organisation of British Sign Language (BSL) and Irish Sign Language (ISL) in the UK.

The first time that I remember I connected with the Deaf community, I didn't feel alone anymore. I didn't feel ashamed to be deaf.
– Bobbie
