Loss to Found:

Donate to our appeal

We demand a world where every Deaf person feels found. Donate now and support our Deaf-led movement to bring BSL in and change Deaf lives.

The problem:

Too many deaf people are growing up without culture, community and language

Bobbie-Feat-Web

"Growing up without access to BSL had a huge impact on my life"

Becky-feat-web

"I had felt like I was the only deaf person in this world"

Rebecca-feat-web

"I realised this was who I truly was. This was my language, my identity"

From a hearing loss to a community found

We’re working to connect more deaf people with their language and their community. But we need your help

£10

Could pay for a Deaf child to socialise with other Deaf children at a Deaf Roots & Pride session.

£20

Could give a Deaf person 1-1 support from a trained advocate, helping them remove barriers and access services.

£50

Funds 5 hours of mentoring for a vulnerable Deaf child, empowering them with a ‘can do’ mindset through a trained Deaf role model.

The first time that I remember I connected with the Deaf community, I didn't feel alone anymore. I didn't feel ashamed to be deaf.
